It was an exceptionally great day, maybe a bit full-on but still a wonderful one! It marked our start of camping season and Nixie could not have been more excited, I was worried we were going to have to cancel our trip due to Nixie being so poorly a couple of days before but luckily she got a lot better, still very coldy, with a runny nose but I'm so happy we decided to go ahead with our plans because it was a day to remember. But before we went camping we had a little trip to Exbury Gardens to see the daffodils and ride the steam train & of course her wanting to help random women with their bags continued. There were quite a bit of upsets though throughout the day for one reason or another, bless her, she wasn't feeling 100% but the look of wonder when she rode the steam train was priceless. Oh and the day also marked the start of woodtick season, she got one stuck to her just under her eye, while playing amongst the daffodils, I couldn't get it out with just my fingers and we had to rush to get some better tweasers but luckily she fell asleep in the car and I was able to get it off while she was still asleep. And when we arrived at our campsite it could not have been better, we had the whole place to ourselves! We did not see a single person although we did make friends with lots of horses, it was so blissful and peaceful ❤
